Research builds — software and hardware I’m making to push neuroscience into something useful. Two so far. Both started in 2025, both have working prototypes.

An AI app for aphasia recovery

For people who’ve had a stroke and can’t find their words anymore, but who are still completely there. We built the therapy around singing: when language won’t come, the music sometimes still does. Two weeks at Stanford CNI-X 2025, a six-person team, my capstone.

NeuroCalm

A wearable for sensory regulation

A headband I’m designing to read alpha and theta brainwaves and give a calming cue before sensory overload tips into crisis. Built around consumer EEG and an Arduino, with a prototype I can run on simulated input while iterating.
